Chorlton Whisky - Dailuaine 10 Year Old

Dailuaine, not a very common distillery, like Glen Ord from the same summer release. This Dailuaine 10 Year Old was matured in a First-fill Bourbon Barrel, it is aromatic and refreshing compared to some young Dailuaine we tried. On the nose, it is with green apple, mints and some toffee, a moment later, it gets more cakey and creamy. On the palate, it is creamy, sweet and a bit salty like butterscotch, and it ends warmly with hints of grapefruits then develops to cream and green apple. Just like a refreshing dessert.
