Kilchoman Machir Bay

A vatting of Kilchoman matured in both Bourbon and Sherry Casks, the high proportion of bourbon barrels create a superb balance between Islay characters and fresh floral notes.

The aroma contains notes of lemon zest, vanilla and coastal characters. Some floral notes, peaches, pears appear later. The initial palate is a burst of tropical fruit, dried sultanas and peat smoke, while hints of honey, butterscotch and malt are detected afterwards. A long lingering peppery and peaty finish, with soft sweetness.
