The Old Malt Cask - Arran 21 Year Old 1997 20th Anniversary Cask HL17075

Hunter Laing & Co., based in Glasgow, are a family owned and run independent purveyor of Scotch Whisky. This rare Old Malt Cask releases celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the range and are unashamedly for connoisseurs of the finest expressions of cask-strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 

Arran Distillery was commissioned by the Isle of Arran Distillers in 1995 and lies amid stunning scenery just to the south of Lochranza on the northern tip of the Isle of Arran. Aromas of crème caramel and vanilla pods lead the charge, what quickly follows is a grand sherried fruit explosion of fresh summer berries, strawberry, mulling spices, and a dusting of cinnamon. On the palate this fruit bomb continues its journey through caramelised banana, can candied dark fruits. A medium length finishes this exceptionally pleasing dram.
