Samaroli S.r.l.; has become is one of the most prominent names in the world of whisky. An independent bottling company with a rich history, stretching back 50 years.

The legacy began with the companies inception back in 1968 by the late great Silvano Samaroli. His precision in process of initial  selection of rare and renowned single malts, each carefully re-casked, in some cases vatted into new oak, transformed them through extended ageing in his warehouses, and then finally anointing them with what has become Samaroli’s trademark artistic labels. 

The resulting whiskies have increased depth, complexity and flavour, incomparable to any other. Samaroli is recognised as the first “non-British” company in history to bottle single cask whiskeys in this way and became undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed and influential spirits importers in Italy. 

A bright and attractive appearance within the glass only adds to the anticipation before nosing. Aromas express robust medicinal herbal qualities, complimented by shades of rock sea salt, structured iodine, crisp cereal, artisanal salted butters, sun dried seaweed, sandy beaches, leather, a discreet underlying pine resin note, and pungent aromatic spices. On the palate multi-faceted elements evolve from toasted barley through hints, harmonious peat smoke, dried vanilla pods, almonds swirled into an almost creamy elegance. An enveloping, lengthy, persistent finish uplifted by a grassy freshness and flaky sea salt.
