Chorlton Whisky - Blair Athol 12 Year Old

The nose is waxy and earthy, with orange peel and pinch of coal dust, herbal throat pastilles and a developing dark berry note. The palate is equally complex, starts of on a sweet note with honey, candied peel, buttered popcorn, before going into a drier and more nutty mid-palate.
