Lagavulin 22 Year Old Islay Jazz Festival 2020

Since 2011, Lagavulin has released a limited edition every year for the Islay Jazz Festival. Only 2,004 bottles are available as usual, this 22-year-old single malt is made to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the festival. Although the festival was held online this year, Lagavulin still attached great importance to this bottling.

Matured in re-filled American and European Oak casks, some of which were seasoned with wine. ‘This bottle is a unique Lagavulin from an interesting mix of casks, that have given an extra twist of rich, smooth and sweet fruitiness to the palate and finish,’ the new manager of Lagavulin, Pierrick Guillaume added.
