XOP - Auchroisk 30 Year Old 1991 Cask DL 15416

Distilled in Auchroisk, one of Diageo’s Speyside distilleries, which you do not see many official bottles, and this XOP released by Douglas Laing is a great chance to explore this 30-Year-Old Auchroisk. Matured in a refill hogshead, matured from Feb 1991 to Dec 2021,  bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.2%.

The nose offers a combination of ripe red fruits, complemented by warming spices and a buttery pastry aroma. On the palate, you can expect a fantastic medley of orange rind and candied peels, combined with the spiciness of nutmeg and cloves. The finish lingers on and on, leaving behind the taste of candy apples and honey’d barley.
