秩父 Ichiro's Malt - Double Distilleries

Chichibu Distillery is owned by Venture Whisky and was founded by Ichiro AKUTO,  grandson of the founder of the now-closed Hanyu distillery. The distillery started its operations in 2008 and has been making single malt whisky influenced by the local climate.

Created from a blend of casks from Hanyu and Chichibu, Double Distilleries is a pure malt that marries sweetness and firmness. On nose it is seductive and fresh, with sweetness of jasmine and a hint of pepper and vanilla. On palate is lively and complex, with chocolate and fruity notes. Long-lasting finish.
