Caol Ila Distillers Edition 2006-2017

Matured in American Oak and finished in Moscatel sherry casks. Clean, refined and smoky.

On the nose it is a clean Caol Ila - peaty and medicinal, yet with rich fruit and notes of spices. On the palate the sweet maltiness strikes first, then peat smoke and cinnamon spice are developed. Caol Ila’s smoky bonfires are detected afterwards. Robust, dry but still it is beautifully balanced by cinnamon spice.
