Another bottle for Liquorfang’s ‘Music & Color’ series.
Released in 2020, this bottle is a tribute to one of the greatest rock bands, Nirvana. As you may know, Grunge is the main music style of Nirvana. When Mr. Fang was picking the cask to pair with, he knew he would need something oily, dirty, powerful - yet balanced and fantastic.
Not many casks could maintain >60% abv after spending 20 years of aging. Initial palate is strong and bold, while some oily, waxy and smoky characters are well-developed afterwards. It finishes with hints of peaches and fruits.
Matured in Refill Sherry Butt, only 360 bottles are available worldwide. Last but not least, do not forget ‘Nevermind’ is undoubtedly one of the G.O.A.T.. With this bottle and music, you will be able to find your drinking buddy, but not only ‘in your head’!
