位於 Islay 南部的 Laphroaig 至今擁有超過 200 歷史，獨特、具豐富層次感的泥煤氣息不但吸引了一班忠實的支持者，同時使酒廠成為唯一一家有皇家委任認證的威士忌酒廠。
Select Cask 帶有如醫院、診所等氣味，也有營火、煙燻及海洋氣息，入口卻以檸檬、柑橘作為主調，同時有乾果、焦糖等味道，中等的收結帶有香料感。
Founded 1810 (pronounced ‘La-FROYg’) it has an utterly distinctive character. Located in small bay on the southernmost tip of Islay. It's unique flavour comes in part from its vicinity to the coast and the high moss content of its peat, processed in the distillery’s own floor malting’s.
A slightly reserved aroma of those classic Islay medicinal, earthy, bonfire peat smoke, and maritime elements. Its palate is one of contrasts though as you begin your tasting. Lemon citrus tones along with dried fruits, soft caramels, and dried vanilla pods spring up through its strong pettiness the palate. A medium length spicy and medicinal finish.
