This Benrinnes bottling depicts Tomnaverie Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire, a prehistoric site dating back around 4,000 years. Characterised by a large recumbent stone flanked by two upright stones, this distinctive type of stone circle is found only in north-east Scotland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBenrinnes is known for its relatively heavy, meaty new-make spirit. The distillery still uses traditional worm tub condensers, which provide less copper contact than the more common shell-and-tube condensers, allowing some sulphur compounds to be retained.
