Hazelburn
Hazelburn is the most delicate and unpeated style made at Springbank, using air-dried malt and undergoing triple distillation through two stills. It accounts for about 10% of Springbank’s output, known for its light, fruity, and smooth character. The expressions are non-chill-filtered, uncoloured, and bottled onsite, with 10- and 12-year-olds being most common.
Named after a historic Campbeltown distillery, Hazelburn was revived by Springbank in 2005. Its initial releases featured three labels, each highlighting a different aspect of the distillery. Hazelburn remains a fine example of traditional craftsmanship with a modern, approachable profile.
