The “Sparrow” Coconut Custard Mooncake is made with Shindo Virgin American Oak whisky. Compared with a traditional custard mooncake, coconut milk and condensed milk are added to create a richer filling, with smooth and creamy custard surrounding the lava centre. On the palate, the whisky aroma opens up immediately, bringing notes of caramel, subtle Virgin Oak new wood and coconut, together with roasted nuts and creamy coconut milk.

The other flavour, “Four of Dots” Bourbon Peat Longan Red Bean Paste Mooncake, first reveals the peaty, roasted character of the whisky, layered with the smoky, wood-fired notes of dried longan. The Bourbon Barrel contributes vanilla and caramel, while the whisky-infused dried longan releases concentrated sweet-and-tart fruit flavours and rich whisky notes as you chew, creating a full and layered profile.
