Situated in the heart of Islay, Bowmore is the island’s oldest licensed distillery, established in 1779. The distillery still uses traditional floor malting techniques and matures its spirit in the legendary No.1 Vaults—Scotland’s oldest whisky warehouse located below sea level—where the maritime air lends a distinct salty character and balance to its whiskies.

Bowmore has released many acclaimed vintage and limited edition expressions over the years, with the 12, 15, and 18 Year Old bottlings forming its core range. The Bowmore 15 Year Old, matured in sherry casks, is especially favored in Asian markets.
