Paul John is a rising star in the single malt whisky world, hailing from Goa, India. Launched in 2012 by John Distilleries, it quickly gained international recognition. The distillery uses six-row barley grown at the foothills of the Himalayas, distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in Goa’s hot and humid coastal climate—resulting in whiskies with distinctive tropical fruit and spice notes. Despite shorter aging, the whiskies are notably rich and rounded.

Paul John’s range includes both unpeated and peated expressions such as Brilliance, Edited, and Bold, offering flavor profiles from honeyed sweetness to smoky spice. The brand also releases limited editions and unique cask finishes that appeal to whisky collectors.
