Caol Ila 18 Year Old Unpeated 2017

One of the 2017 Special Releases from Diageo.

Matured in Refill American Oak Hogsheads and bottled at cask strength (59.8%), this 18YO on nose contains chocolate and pine notes. Herbal notes run through the middle with black pepper and a hint of maritime note. On palate you can also discover the rich cocoa, caramel, peppery notes, along with a hint of smoke and orchard fruits. Finished with significant fruity and chocolate-y notes.
