Same as the core range 15-year-old expression, it is matured in a combination of PX and Oloroso sherry casks. The flavor profile includes dark fruits, chocolate, honey, and apricot, leading to a finish of walnut notes and honeyed sweetness.

GlenDronach

Established in 1826, Glendronach is one of the few Highland distilleries that continues to embrace a traditional production style. Its equipment includes wooden washbacks and uniquely shaped stills, creating a heavy-bodied spirit with strong character. The distillery is best known for its extensive use of Sherry casks, with some expressions matured entirely in ex-Sherry wood, delivering rich layers of dried fruit, spice, and chocolate.

Following several changes in ownership, Glendronach was acquired by the BenRiach Distilling Co. in 2008 and relaunched with a core range of 12-, 15-, and 18-year-old whiskies, followed by numerous limited cask-strength releases. For fans of Sherried styles and traditional whisky, Glendronach remains a compelling destination.
