Hakushu Distillery lies deep in the forests at the foot of Japan’s Southern Alps. Established by Suntory in 1973, the site offers high altitude, cool temperatures, and pristine mountain water. With 16 stills of varying shapes, Hakushu can produce a remarkably diverse range of whiskies.

Known for their herbal, fruity, and gently peated character, Hakushu expressions are often matured in sherry and bourbon casks. Celebrated for their crisp and refined palate, Hakushu whiskies embody the spirit of a forest sanctuary and remain a beloved icon of Japanese whisky.
