Longrow 100 Proof

Longrow is produced by the Springbank Distillery, with the key differences being its use of double distillation, as opposed to Springbank’s signature 2.5-times distillation, and a significantly heavier peat influence compared to Springbank. The newly released 2025 Longrow 100 Proof edition is bottled at a controlled 57.1% ABV—high, yet not cask strength. It is initially matured in bourbon barrels for almost 4 years before being transferred to Pinot Noir red wine casks for an additional 2 years of aging.

Official Tasting Notes:
The peat smoke influence presents in medicinal, tcp notes, along with notes of redcurrants on the nose. Softer on the palate, the peat smoke has a more earthy, musty element now, with notes of creme brulee, vanilla and almonds. Red cola cubes, strawberry laces and marzipan are at the forefront of the smoky Longrow finish.
