Springbank 10 Year Old Fino Cask Matured 2025 Edition

This expression is the fourth release in the distillery’s five-part "Sherry Series." Distilled in July 2015, the spirit was initially matured for four years in first-fill bourbon casks, followed by a six-year maturation in Fino sherry casks. It was released in October 2025 at a cask strength of 55% ABV.

The nose offers aromas of blood orange, brandy snaps, vanilla custard, and tinned fruits. On the palate, notes of cinnamon sugar, fresh mint, praline, lemon curd, and morello cherries emerge. The finish concludes with lingering hints of key lime, cola bottles, and maple syrup.

Springbank

Springbank is the only distillery in Scotland to malt, distil, mature, and bottle whisky entirely on-site. Using three stills and long fermentation times, it produces three styles: the medium-peated Springbank, unpeated Hazelburn, and heavily peated Longrow.

Springbank’s partial triple distillation yields a balanced and complex spirit with smoke, fruit, and oiliness. Maturation is equally varied, including not just Bourbon and Sherry casks but also wine and rum barrels. Springbank is widely regarded as the guardian of Campbeltown’s distilling heritage.
