Springbank 10 Year Old Local Barley 2015-2025

Local Barley is the distillery’s annual limited-edition series, crafted from barley grown within or around Campbeltown. Each year, Springbank commissions local farmers to grow barley on their behalf to continue this "Grain to Glass" themed expression.

The latest 10-year-old edition, released in November 2025, was matured in a combination of 60% Bourbon casks and 40% Sherry casks. The nose offers aromas of fig rolls, date syrup, plums, and star anise. On the palate, a savoury element becomes more pronounced, revealing notes of burdock, shiitake mushrooms, Tamari soy sauce, and liquorice. The finish carries hints of campfire ash and treacle molasses.
