新道 Shindo 3 Year Old 2022 for Casky MahJong Series "East" Cask 10254

The "MahJong Series” is a new collection created by local whisky bar Casky. Its debut release, "East" is a Shindo whisky matured in Virgin Mizunara Puncheon for over three years. On the palate, this expression offers a hint of sweetness (vanilla-like!) and a light touch of peat. The Mizunara wood also imparts rich aromas of sandalwood, agarwood, and coconut, making it exceptionally pleasant on the nose.

Located in Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu, Shindo Distillery was established by Shinozaki Co., Ltd., a company with over 200 years of history. The distillery officially began production in August 2021. Drawing on its parent company’s background in brewing sake and shochu, Shindo Distillery utilizes various types of yeast to create a unique new make, and employs a wide range of casks to produce distinctive flavors.

Available in 700ml and 200ml editions. Both sizes include a set of two 'East' Mahjong tiles in a special box.
