The oldest core range bottle of Arran at the time. Matured in Sherry and Bourbon Casks, bottled at 46% without chill filtration or the addition of any colouring, limited to 3000 bottles annually.

The nose offers rich oak and subtle nutmeg, complemented by the sweetness of ripe figs, sultanas, and black cherries. The palate is like a fruitcake, toasted almonds, cinnamon, citrus zest and notes of honey and sugar. It finishes creamy and spicy, lingering with dark chocolate and a fruit compote.

Although relatively new since beginning production in 1995, Arran has swiftly earned acclaim for its citrusy, cereal-driven profile and a strong wood maturation policy. Situated in Lochranza for its pure water and tourism potential, the distillery produces primarily unpeated, Highland-style malt with notable aging potential.

In recent years, Arran has expanded its range with expressions like Barrel Reserve and the Sherry cask-matured The Bodega. In 2017, the distillery doubled its capacity to 1.2 million liters per year, enhancing both production and visitor facilities with additions like the Rowan House blending space.
