Bowmore 26 Year Old 1999 Distillery Exclusive PX Sherry Cask 13

Released at the end of 2025, this distillery-exclusive Bowmore got a brand-new presentation. It has been matured for 26 years and 9 months in a PX Sherry cask. Notably, the name has shifted from "Hand-filled" to "Crafted by Hand."

On the nose, sweetness takes center stage, reminiscent of overripe fruits—such as plums and blackcurrants—paired with rich caramel. Followed by gentle smoke like ash and tobacco. The palate is like the nose, led by sweet flavors and a dense, juice-like fruitiness. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and heavy, yet remarkably clean, without a hint of oakiness or unpleasant sulfur. The finish lingers with fruit sweetness and a delicate trail of tobacco smoke.
