Glengoyne is a Highland distillery with both geographic and technical uniqueness — while the distillery sits in the Highlands, its warehouses across the road are in the Lowlands. It employs very slow distillation and long fermentation, using stills with boil bulbs to increase copper contact. This maximizes reflux, yielding a soft, sweet, and fruity spirit.

Renowned for producing unpeated Highland single malts, Glengoyne launched its own bottlings in the 1990s. Under Ian MacLeod’s ownership, it has also grown into a popular visitor destination, welcoming over 50,000 guests annually. Behind its modest farmhouse exterior lies a distillery known for its approachable and distinctive whisky character.
