Located in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Shindo Distillery is a whisky brand officially established in 2021 by the century-old Shinozaki Brewery. Situated along the banks of the Chikugo River, the distillery utilizes high-quality local water sources and leverages Kyushu’s characteristically warm and humid climate. These environmental factors accelerate the interaction between the spirit and the wood, resulting in an accelerated maturation process that imparts a rich and remarkably mature flavor profile. Despite its relatively short history, the deep-rooted brewing expertise of its parent company has allowed Shindo to rapidly distinguish itself within the competitive Japanese whisky landscape.

Shindo Distillery is renowned for its bold spirit of cask experimentation, specifically its efforts to integrate local culture and nature into the aging process. The flagship "CORES" series is a testament to this innovation, most notably for its use of Chestnut casks—a rarity in traditional whisky production—which yields a unique nutty aroma and a luscious, sweet palate.
