Weller C.Y.P.B. 2024 Release

Weller C.Y.P.B. stands for “Craft Your Perfect Bourbon” and originated from an interactive project by Buffalo Trace. Launched in 2015, the project invited Bourbon enthusiasts to choose their ideal recipe, age, warehouse location and bottling proof. More than 100,000 people took part over two years, with the results showing a remarkably consistent preference. Buffalo Trace eventually turned this crowd-sourced “perfect Bourbon” into what is now Weller C.Y.P.B.

The final expression uses Weller’s signature wheated Bourbon recipe, aged for 8 years on the highest warehouse floors and bottled at 95 Proof (47.5% ABV). From the recipe and age to the warehouse location and bottling strength, each key element reflects the preferences chosen by Bourbon drinkers, making C.Y.P.B. one of the most distinctive expressions in the Weller range. The 2024 Release continues this formula as a limited annual release.

Official Tasting Notes:
The nose is light, with notes of citrus and oak. The palate is well rounded and balanced, leading to a medium-long finish with hints of vanilla.
