Kanosuke 2026 Limited Edition

Located on the Fukiagehama coast in Kagoshima, Kanosuke Distillery was founded by renowned shochu maker Komasa Jyozo. It is one of the few distilleries in southern Kyushu equipped with three different pot stills, enabling a wide range of whisky styles. The region’s ocean breeze and sunlight lend a mellow, beachy character that contrasts with typical Japanese whiskies.

Since distillation began in 2017, Kanosuke has released single malts featuring notes of vanilla, citrus, and baked sweets, primarily matured in bourbon casks. Led by master blender Yoshitsugu Komasa, the distillery blends local climate and elegant technique, ushering in a new wave of Japanese whisky innovation.
