Longmorn
Longmorn is a historically significant Speyside distillery founded by John Duff, who also established Benriach. Since launching its single malt in 1993, it has gained recognition for its rich fruity aromas and full-bodied style. Its eight thick-necked stills produce spirit well-suited for long maturation in Sherry or Bourbon casks, resulting in deep and layered complexity.
Although most production goes into blends, Longmorn has released limited single malt expressions under Chivas Brothers and remains a favorite among independent bottlers. Particularly revered in Japan, it has earned a cult following as a hidden Speyside gem with strong collecting potential.

Chorlton Whisky - Longmorn 18 Year Old 2002
Not those commonly matured in Sherry Casks but Bourbon Barrel. On the nose, it is with butter, dried apricots and leather, then green apple and waxy mandarins. Very creamy on the palate, tastes like fudge, toffee and lemon posset, and finishes with dark chocolate...- $1,880.00
