Springbank
Springbank is the only distillery in Scotland to malt, distil, mature, and bottle whisky entirely on-site. Using three stills and long fermentation times, it produces three styles: the medium-peated Springbank, unpeated Hazelburn, and heavily peated Longrow.
Springbank’s partial triple distillation yields a balanced and complex spirit with smoke, fruit, and oiliness. Maturation is equally varied, including not just Bourbon and Sherry casks but also wine and rum barrels. Springbank is widely regarded as the guardian of Campbeltown’s distilling heritage.
