Glen Ord

Glen Ord’s single malts have appeared under various names since the 1980s, including Glenordie and Muir of Ord. To eliminate confusion, Diageo consolidated the branding as Singleton of Glen Ord, with a strong marketing push in Asia.

As one of the few distilleries with its own malting facility, Glen Ord also supplies malt to Talisker and others. The whisky’s profile includes grassy freshness, toffee sweetness, and subtle smoke—enhanced by long fermentation and clear wort practices.
