Glenturret
The Glenturret distillery has changed hands multiple times over the years, finally being acquired in 2019 by Glenturret Holding, with Lalique Group holding a 50% stake, from Edrington, marking its re-emergence in the whisky market. Glenturret employs Scotland’s only remaining manually operated mash tun, paired with wooden washbacks and handmade copper pot stills. This traditional approach, combined with the reputation of former Macallan master blender Bob Dalgarno, has successfully drawn attention to the revitalized Glenturret.
From the fruity 12-year-old, the peated 10-year-old, to well-aged releases like the 30-year-old, all bottles are designed by the renowned French crystal brand Lalique, with the most premium releases, such as The Trinity Series and the 50-year-old, directly utilizing Lalique’s crystal decanters.
