Chorlton Whisky - Speyside (Glenrothes) 13 Year Old 2008

Quite a strong one with 64.4% ABV, matured in a Second-filled Sherry Butt, a classic sherried Glenrothes that is nutty, creamy and fruity, and David mentioned that diluting with water will make it like a different whisky! With apple pie, cakes, dried figs, raisin, caramel, malted milk and walnut on the nose! Tasting sweet like caramel at first, then dark chocolate and it turns to apple pie later, a warm palate! The warmness lasts with fruitiness, making it a long finish.
