Kilkerran is the single malt brand of Glengyle distillery, revived in 2004 and named after the original Gaelic name for Campbeltown. The distillery uses malted barley from nearby Springbank and traditional equipment like boatskin larch washbacks and direct-fired stills, preserving artisanal methods.

The flagship Kilkerran 12 Year Old is matured in 70% Bourbon and 30% Sherry casks, delivering gentle peat and layered fruitiness. Initially released as “Work-in-Progress” series, it became a permanent fixture in 2016. Kilkerran reflects a new era of Campbeltown whisky with a fresh yet restrained character.
