밀튼더프
Miltonduff is a key contributor to the Ballantine’s blend, known for its soft, floral new make. With a long history, the distillery once experimented with triple distillation and produced the Mosstowie label using a Coffey Still—rare for Speyside. Though primarily a blending malt, occasional official bottlings do appear.
Recently, Chivas Brothers introduced a 15-year-old Miltonduff under the Ballantine’s series, featuring fruity, vanilla, and light woody notes. This move rekindled interest in Miltonduff’s single malt potential and demonstrated the distillery’s ability to balance blending utility with standalone character.
