Mortlach is renowned for its unique 2.81 distillation method—one of Scotland’s most complex processes—producing rich, robust spirit known as “The Beast of Dufftown.” Often used in premium blends like Johnnie Walker, Mortlach adds structure and weight to the final whisky profile.

Since 2014, Mortlach has expanded its original range with single malts like Rare Old, 18-Year-Old, and 25-Year-Old. These expressions mark its move into the luxury whisky space, offering meaty, sweet, and oak-rich profiles that appeal to seasoned drinkers and collectors alike.
