The Aberlour distillery (pronounced ‘Abba-LOW-errr’) sits at the base of the rugged mountain range, Ben Rinnes in Speyside.;A most characterful nose indeed with hints of cinnamon, freshly cracked black pepper, oak, caramel, vanilla pods, and honey. A well rounded and smooth palate of Christmas fruit cake that is almost oily in texture. A warm buttery finished ends on an almost sumptuous sticky toffee pudding note.
