A Sip of Fresh ArranThe first distillery of Arran was built in 1994, they believe the proximity to Loch na Davie could provide a special source of fresh water for distilling. Last year, Arran made some changes to its core range.Sherry Cask ‘The Bodega’ is a stunning new addition to Arran’s core range. Matured in some of the finest Sherry Casks, The Bodega is bottled at cask strength. This bottling is a return to the style of some of the earliest Arran Single Malt. On nose is toffee, sweet spice and fruit, while on palate there are ripe fig and cherries, and dark chocolate appears at the finish.On the other hand, Arran 21 YO is finally part of the core range! 100% matured in a mix of some of the oldest Sherry Butts from the distillery, this fantastic expression remains true to the character of Arran - fresh fruit and sweet spice in abundance, layered with dark chocolate and citrus, rich and complex. Also, 18YO which displays the tremendous depth of character of Arran, came with a new packing last year. We believe the above mentioned 3 bottlings are great examples to let you know about Arran!
