Launched between 2010 and 2013, Balvenie Tun 1401 was a favorite of then-Master Blender David Stewart and gained immense popularity since release. This second batch was drawn from 7 bourbon and 3 sherry casks, including the oldest from 1967 and the youngest from 1989, with the remaining eight from the 1970s, totaling 2,226 bottles.

It offers a rich nose of polished oak, honey, orange peel, pineapple, vanilla, almonds, raisins, and floral notes, balancing sherry and bourbon. Its velvety palate turns spicy with ginger, pepper, nutmeg, honey, apricot, and chocolate, softening with a few drops of water. The finish is long, featuring oranges, chocolate, and nutmeg.
