On the nose, there’s an initial hit of Ledaig’s tarry peat and seawater saltiness, which gradually gives way to the sweet and sour notes of BBQ sauce, along with bacon. On the palate, there's a noticeable sweetness accompanied by saltiness, like smoking seafood, savory with a lingering smokiness. In the mid to late palate, it got a taste similar to Fisherman's Friend lozenges. The finish is a long-lasting smokiness.
