The first member of ‘Experimental Series’.
Glenfiddich’s Malt Master Brian Kinsman collaborated with Seb Jones from Speyside Craft Brewery, to create a new craft IPA and a new kind of single malt. American oak barrels are sent to the brewery for 4 weeks of seasoning, then the barrels are sent back to Dufftown.
Second matured in bespoke craft IPA barrels for 3 months - on nose there are green apples, pears, spring blossom with fresh herbs, while on palate it is vibrant with citrus notes, followed by vanilla and a hint of fresh hops. It finishes with lovely sweetness with green hops.
