Unlike previous releases, Assemblage 4 is the first sake from IWA5, crafted entirely at the Shiraiwa brewery in Toyama. Every stage of production, from brewing to blending and reserving, takes place here.

The "5" in IWA 5 symbolizes balance and harmony, representing the concept of Assemblage itself. This concept extends to the production process, which involves 5 yeast strains and 5 components: Rice varieties and Origins, Yeast Strains, Moto & Reserve Sakes.

Assemblage 4 offers a unique aroma, with floral, earthy, and herbal notes instead of the typical fruitiness. Scents include marzipan, lotus root, marine undertones, coconut, hazelnut, mushroom, and a hint of violets. Its palate combines airy softness with fruity, floral, and subtle maritime flavors, while the finish stands out for its length and the characteristic white and Sancho peppers of IWA.
