This Strathclyde is a very old vintage whisky - distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2020 by a reputable IB (Independent Bottler) Liquid Treasures. In addition, it is a single GRAIN whisky. Single grain whisky is uncommonly seen in market comparing to its counterpart single malt whisky. In fact grain whisky plays a very important role in whisky industry. It is a major ingredient in blended whiskies which dominate the world whisky market.

Most grain whiskies are made for purpose of blending and therefore it is hard to find those bottled quality grain whiskies for long drink alone in retail market.

As far as the market information, there was no official bottling of Strathclyde released thus far and even the IB bottlings are also rarely seen.
