Teeling Renaissance Series is a new product line in their Vintage Reserve Collection, to offer the best well-aged Teeling Whiskey with very limited numbers.

The 2nd Release features Australian Shiraz Wine Casks in the last maturation period of this 18-year-old whiskey, which matured in Bourbon Barrels before. The wine casks finish gave a very very fruity aroma on nose, with distinct hints of red fruits like strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, and hints of caramel. On palate, still red fruits, with some spice and sweetness from bourbon casks influence, oily and full bodied. It leaves you toast hints, banana sweetness and cinnamon with a long and warm finish.

An excellent showcase of wine casks matured whiskey, Teeling does really well on double maturation!
