Glen Keith, a relatively “young” distillery founded by Chivas Brothers in 1957, most of its whisky are not released as single malt but blended. And Thompson Brothers offers the chance to taste a well-aged Glen Keith distilled in 1992, which matured for 29 years in two refill barrels before being bottled.The nose presents a blend of vanilla custard, bananas, pineapple and melon, accompanied by subtle mineral and buttery hints. On the palate, a creamy texture and full of fruitiness like pineapple, plums, and coconut, alongside nuances of vanilla, cloves, and white pepper. The finish lingers with a peppery warmth, complemented by notes of freshly cut grass.
