This Bowmore 2004 single cask was matured for 22 years in a Refill Bourbon Barrel and released by The Whisky Exchange, taking inspiration from the legend of "The Headless Horseman" on Islay. The story tells of a crofter who, on a stormy night, spotted a headless horseman riding away from his house. Upon returning home, he discovered a bottle of Bowmore that had already been drunk from. Terrified, he threw the entire bottle away. As it turned out, the rider was actually his brother, who had pulled his cloak over his head to shield himself from the rain while riding, causing the misunderstanding.

Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Singed orange peel, roasted tangerine and tropical fruits, with sea breeze, charcoal, mint and earthy peat.
Palate: Pineapple, mango, apple and pear, layered with spice, cocoa, ash and salted caramel.
Finish: Deep smoke, dark chocolate and baked apple.
