Produced in small batches to be released every year, this exceptionally rare and ever-changing 19 Year Old draws its inspiration from Islay’s Traigh Bhan beach, known locally as the Singing Sands.;The first batch is a combination of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks, and the batch code varies with years. This year’s bottling features the Distillery Manager, Mickey Heads. When this whisky was disgorged, Mickey remarked that the aroma was the loveliest he’d experience in all his years.On the nose, definitely influenced by sherry cask, you will discover elegant notes dark fruit, caramel, smoke and dark chocolate, while on the taste, a very soft and oily taste with gentle peat, sweetness guide your palate towards a long and gentle finish.
