*With stains inside the box.*Karuizawa distillery was established in 1955, using the golden promise barley same as the Macallan, and maturing whisky with sherry casks. Sadly affected by Japan's Bubble Economy, and Japanese whisky was not popular back in time, the distillery was closed in 2001. The remaining casks of Karuizawa were all bought up, mostly by Number One Drinks Company, Eric Huang, La Maison du Whisky and The Whisky Exchange.This bottle was released by Number One Drinks, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2011, aged more than 26 years.
