Kavalan Distillery has been making whisky since 2005, the very first whisky distillery in Taiwan. It is located in Yilan County, granting them a pure water source from the springs of Snow Mountain and Central Mountains in Taiwan, and water is the essence of whisky.Released as the very first cask strength product of Kavalan, Solist Sherry is matured in a single Oloroso sherry cask, without coloring or chill-filtration. On the nose, it is complex with layers of dried fruit, nuts and spices, along with touches of vanilla. A powerful palate as bottled at cask strength, you can find vanilla, coffee, spice and oakiness, strong yet complex.
